#10-32 Shaft End Screw V1 and V2 are compatible with the REV ION System and are used to retain parts on any ION hex shaft instead of shaft collars. 1/2in Rounded Hex Shafts in various lengths are available and come tapped with #10-32 holes. The integrated flange of the Shaft End Screw is larger than the outside diameter of the 1/2in hex and will keep motion components from sliding off the end of the shaft. All Shaft End Screws also feature a nylon patch on the threads making them self-locking without the need for applying anything additional while keeping it safe for use with all materials. This also allows you to retain a shaft within bearing, like the #10 Clearance Bearing – Flanged – 7/8in OD, while the head of the Shaft End Screw makes perfect contact with the inner race of the bearing to allow smooth rotation. #10-32 Shaft End Screw V2 – 0.5in are also specifically used with any Vortex Shaft to retain the shafts within the Vortex motor!
